Legend is the detailed list of our building components and symbols and we can specify the\u00a0 detailed information about the components using legends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creation of Legends<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

View tab -> Create Panel -> Legends<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: <\/em><\/strong>Right click on the Legends in project browser and click \u201cNew Legend<\/strong>\u201d option to create a New Legend.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. After that New Legend dialogue box will open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

2. Specify the name for your Legend (Here I am going to create legend for Door. So that I specified the name as \u201cDoor Legend<\/em>\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Specify the Scale for the Legend view ( You can customize your scale).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Click \u201cok<\/em>\u201d to create Legend view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. The new legend view will be created in the name which we specified earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can add both \u201cComponents and Symbols<\/strong><\/em>\u201d to the Legend. Before that we have to create table for the legend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Draw a Table using Detail line<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Annotate tab -> Detail panel -> Detail line.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can draw table using \u201cModify\/Place Detail Line<\/em>\u201d Draw tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding Text<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Annotate tab -> Text Panel -> Text.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After placing the text the legend table is ready to add symbols or Component.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding Components to Legend<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Annotate Tab -> Detail panel -> Component -> Legend Component<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In options bar all the components which we were used in our project will be shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can select one of them which we want in our legend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As well as we can choose the particular view which we want to display in our legend in options bar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here I choose Plan and Elevation front and Back for the doors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place the components in place which we require. Place the text and numbers as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can add the details like Dimensions, Filled region and Masking Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can also add Symbols to the Legend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
